Description

"Santorini Dwellings" is an oil painting painted from a very high perspective. This view is above this lone Windmill situated in, Oia, at one end of Santorini Island. Oia, although a small part of the island, looks grand and large, the way I saw it that day. The detail is how I remember the village. The buildings are very white against the blue waters of the Aegean Sea. The sunsets are what bring in visitors in the late afternoon to view from the cliffs or from a boat. The windmills here, and those on the Island of Mykonos were used for milling flour before most of them became"dwellings", like the one I painted here. The caldera was formed after the eruption of the volcano centuries ago. This print is available in sizes up to 36x48 inches and many products at my artist gallery, here......... If you think you are seeing double because I have two different sized prints next to each other's listing. One is the original "taller" view and the other is the slightly "widerr" view.

Some collectors of art may or may not view art according to size or the space they want to display their art in, but some just want it a little wider or thinner, so I created a collection "The Taller or Wider Series." You can make certain adjustment for print but the subject has to be inanimate, like architecture. Animate art, like people or animals usually won't take a size change. Only inanimate subjects will appear there. I don't have them all up yet, so, please consider bookmarking me or follow me and come back often, here at...................

If you order prints on paper, may I suggest using Archival Watercolor Paper, as it has proven to be an excellent substrate for printing my work, and it is what I use to print my paper, Standard size prints at my other, Online, website shown below. I do not crop my work for Standard Size Prints but I am able to format them to fit many standard sizes. Look for them soon, here and on........................................................
