GUEST ARTIST: John Grden, is a Fine Art Craftsman, Artist, Author, Illustrator and does it all well with style and with fun. He sells his Fine Art Drawings- Prints and Originals here; Handcrafted Steampunk Pens, Leather Journals, Pouches and Totes his The WonkyDesignStudio.com and GrdenArts.com. A Few words from John:
I draw real objects and imaginative scenes making art fun. Selecting a real place or building, such as my drawings of Vail, Mission San Miguel and Krakow or working on real objects tests my ability to make it look real. Shadows, perspective, coloring and shading all take part in the final product.
Drawing parts of the human anatomy to look real are a real critical test of one’s knowledge of anatomical muscle and bone structure. Drawing scenes that defy yet touch realism are just plain fun. A mouse running on a flat gear with an oil can to lubricate parts is not impossible, but improbable and touches the funny side of art
This kind of drawing makes use of the brighter side of colors and whoever heard of a space astronaut traveling through the sky in a rowboat or have you ever heard mice taking a water propelled toy rocket and fabricating it into their own spacecraft. Impossible, no, improbably, yes andI illustrated it in my second book, “Why did the Mouse go to the Moon? (available on Amazon.com)
